AVIcode will preview its new monitoring capabilities for Microsoft Silverlight 3 at this year's Microsoft TechEd 2010 event in New Orleans.

AVIcode will preview its Silverlight monitoring technology during the June 7-10 run of Microsoft's TechEd conference. As application development teams continue to focus on delivering rich end-user experience, Silverlight is emerging as a key tool in the .NET development arsenal. Silverlight integrates multimedia, graphics, animations and interactivity into a single runtime environment, allowing users to have more interaction with online applications, therefore increasing the amount of activity between the end user and the server.

"As enterprises start to adopt newer development and integration platforms, to provide rich user interface for web based business-critical applications to be used with various client devices, the ability to monitor these applications becomes critical," said Milind Govekar, vice president of research at Gartner. "Organizations will have to invest in monitoring tools to reduce downtime, lower TCO of the platform and to improve its quality of service."

In addition to showcasing its upcoming Silverlight monitoring, AVIcode will also feature enhancements to its end-user monitoring solution, Intercept uX, and integration points for both SharePoint and application software quality and testing processes.
