Microsoft
is gearing up for the latest in its MIX conferences. MIX08 will happen soon—on March 5 through 8 in
Las Vegas.
Microsoft has the keynotes all lined up, and the latest news
is that Microsoft’s Chief Architect, Ray Ozzie will be presenting a keynote, as
will CEO Steve Ballmer, .NET Guru and Microsoft General Manager Scott Guthrie,
and even Guy Kawasaki, the famous Garage.com venture capitalist and author.
(And if you’re planning on attending, be sure to look around for our own
blogger, Julia Lerman.)
This year’s MIX will have, as usual, loads of sessions. Here’s
just a sampling:
- Silverlight development, including AJAX
- Silverlight from a business perspective
- Next generation user interfaces, including as session titled, “The
Human Brain Relationship: Advanced and Adaptive User Interfaces”.
- Dynamic SharePoint web sites
- Designer and developer workflows
